2330 Pontius

Los Angeles, California
1997

The project was a conversion of an existing 17,000 square foot industrial warehouse building into creative production/office space for multiple tenants.  The design focused on strategically pulling natural light into the large space. Public lobbies, restrooms, and corridors were planned below new roof clerestories which filtered daylight. Building entrances were outfitted with amber glass block to diffuse the entering light, and steel canopies were also incorporated over the entry doors to further temper the light and to provide scale for the blank facade as well.
